D's husband works for a company that throws away perfectly good stuff. He rescued a Honeywell True Hepa Air Cleaner, and I now have it. It won't clean the carpets of cat hair, but it should take care of the allergens floating in the air.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Maybe I'll start remembering to carry my inhaler with me. Every time I go out in the cold, damp air, everything starts to close down breathing-wise. And I can't talk. (Some might say that's a blessing) Let me finish. Can't talk above a hoarse whisper. And I wheeze on the exhalation.
Oh, yeah! And I slept in my bed last night. Felt so good!
David finally came over today to move the furniture in the bedroom. D and R already had moved the heavy cabinet; he just had to move it another inch or so to the wall. My closet looks so neat now. Something good came out of the mold, but I don't advise that as a motivation to clean up and neaten.
