Oh,, crumm!
Fri Mar 04 2005

I just deleted my entry entitled "Some people are never satisfied." So, I'll try again.

Since December I've been moaning and groaning and wishing Spring would spring. Well, now that it's definitely on the way, I'm miserable.

On top of asthma, I've developed hay fever. Runny nose. Sneezing. Itchy eyes. Y'know...the whole megillah.

I went to Schmoozers Circle yesterday and had to leave early, before lunch. I just couldn't keep up with my nose. I took an antihistamine and went to bed. Woke up in time to IM with my sister. The antihist I take doesn't usually make me dopey, but I was just wiped out.

Thought I'd stay up and watch a bit of TV, but since there was time for a short nap, I lay down. For three hours. Just in case, I thought, I'll set the VCR to record the programs, which turned out to be a good idea, since I slept through every one of them.

When I woke and was able to stagger into the bathroom and then into the kitchen, I took my night meds and went back to bed. Then my legs started twitching and aching in spite of the Klonopin and quinine I take for just that problem.

So I finally got up and took a hot sit-bath, with bubbles. I thought Banshee was going to join me, but his catly nimbleness prevented a cat-astrophe.

I'm going out again today, but I'll take an antihist before I leave. This is a monthly gathering that I really enjoy, and if these allergies spoil the day, then I'm really going to be cranky!!

Now, don't you guys enjoy reading about all my ills and ails? Aren't you just waiting for an entry that says ALL IS WELL? Don't hold your breath. I'm not. In fact, I'm trying very heard to keep on breathing!

But, Shalom, anyway.

PS: To CandidObserver: Thanks for coming by. Feel free to drop in any time.

    I can sympathise with you..
I used to take Zyrtec D once a day, but my medical plan will no longer cover it. I also useNascort AQ.. you spray up the noes and Patanol eye drops. I am ready for spring..
    Bring it on.
I have alergies all year round but worse in spring and fall..
I sure hope you recover soon..
    :)

You just seem to have more than your fair, that is for sure! Miserable! I don't blame you for being cranky.

My long haired cats have always like water, and the short hairs haven't. I know there are some breeds that do like water. However, I am not so sure any cat would like to accidently find themselves in the bathtub!

I have the awfullest itchy eyes myself. I am hoping I'm not allergic to the demon cat. I actually don't know what I'd do without him, antics and all.

I know as I've said before I was in so much misery with my back and then one day it was just *poof* gone out of the blue! I thought it was going to be with me the rest of my life. So, there is hope! Really, there IS!

    Hang in there,
    Love,
    Anne
