Oh, my goodness, that stew is so good!

However...

While portioning out meals in freezer bowls, I come up with a problem.  I have bowls without lids and lids without bowls.  No matter how many times I go back to the cupboard and look one more time, I still can't find the missing bowls and/or lids.  Funny thing is, I bought all the bowls and lids as sets.

I really, really need to find some more lids for the bowls or more bowls for the lids that don't fit the bowls that are still hanging around.

I wonder if they've gone to the place where the missing socks go.

    sometimes the lids don't seem to fit, but if you force them on, they will..
    do you remember if they ever fit.. ???
    I have some too.. Maybe I'll send you my lids that don't fit.. lol.. Good luck with that..
    Smart to freeze some stew...

    Yes, the clothes dryer ate the lids and the socks. At least that's the way it happens in my house, anyway.

    I adore Gladware and Ziplock's equivalent because I don't feel so bad about losing pieces and they really do last a long time.

    I have that same dilema, although I've heard that lost socks turn into tangled wire hanger larvae.
    I think it is a government conpirasy myself.
    They lose money, why not lids?

    I'd check if there is a door into parallel universe somewhere inside your cupboard...and if there is, I bet the houses in there are built from lids&bowls and paralellolocals wear nothing but the socks...those little thiefs! ;-)

    One hint. Toss them all and buy new ones. When you wash up, store the bowl with the lid put on properly and stack them in the cupboard. That way, when you take the bowl out, the lid is with it and it'll save you HOURS looking for one or the other!! xx

    Chaya, don't you realise that lids are cannibals? When you are not looking, Alpha Lid eats Beta Lid. Same goes for socks. Alpha Sock eats Beta Sock.

    What Is it with bowls and lids, anyway? Gone with the socks? Who knew?!

    RYC: Ah. An overabundance of tata is not a problem I've ever had to face, but I do understand. It was just the positive message versus the negativity of BE Aware Of Breast Cancer! you know? What you did was positive, too, and proactive as well!

    I had to laugh when reading this one. you are so right about those bowls and lids. It just never occurred to me to search for them in the sock box...I have a box where I place socks without a match, hoping that someday the mate will appear. There must be a hundred socks in there.
