SHOOT ME
I just spent AN HOUR writing an entry here. Started here in DD, managed to delete a fairly good start, so went to Word and started over.

Would you believe I DELETED that one too?

I give up.

Maybe tomorrow I'll try again.

Lost your entry? Try to use Control/Z in same time and it might come back. Try it next time if you lose it again!

Hugs, D.

Wow. You take good notes!

I'm impressed.

Bread, butter, glass of milk. Brain food.

I'll take it!

Interestingly, neuroscience and cognitive functions are a couple of my hobbies. I just started reading "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" to learn more about freeing the creativity in my right brain. I'm so incredibly left-brained that I can barely unlock a door with my left hand.

Anyway, if you have MS Excel (I'm using XP), I will be happy to send you the spreadsheet that I created. You plug in your numbers according to a scale (also my own) and up pops your index number. I have only August on it so far, but it's easy enough to just copy the sheet and rename it for subsequent months. Email me if you want it.

That all sounds really interesting. I think I'll do a little research on it to keep my demented little head working, lol

Do you prefer sliced or whole for the pickled beets? I plan to send them out in the next couple days.

I have some tapes that supposidly connect the right and left hemesphere of the brain.. and help them to communicate better.

Dearest Chaya,

I know how frustrating it is even for frequent PC/Word Processor users to lose a typed document. I hate it when the computer crashes and I lose a document too, so my sympathies go out to you.

Am very grateful and relieved though that you later managed to recover the entry.

My brain is out of commission. Of all the things I have lost in life, I miss my mind the most.

Before I forget, I got a votive candle for Rafferty from the SPCA for our annual candlelight vigil for departed pets. It would be a lovely way of remembering the dog who was so much a part of your family. We will light the candles at the shelter premises on August 20.

Take care and have a good week!

Lots of Love,
E.L.

I bought my mom and I the book YOU: The Manual. It is really good and under $20. It talks about walnuts, need 6 per day.

RYN: The sculpey on the hook for some reason works well for me. My thread hand does still have some clenching/cramping issues, but for some reason much better if I have the grip on the hook. I don't understand it but I accept it. I hope, if you try it, that it works for you.
