Rain, rain, go AWAY!
Mon Mar 28 2005

Yes, it's raining here again. Large amounts. And according to the forecast, it will be raining tomorrow.

I'm tired of this. I want more than two days of sunshine in a row. Even misty sunshine.

Now, I love water. I enjoy walking in the rain. But ENOUGH, already! Much more of this, and I'll have to scrap the rowboat and try for an ark.

Megan has a new tenant at her menagerie. A rabbit. Another one. His name is Onyx, and he's a beauty. Apparently the other bunny doesn't have any problem with him, and the cats don't either. If she keeps adopting animals, she'll have to get a kennel license, and sooner rather than later, I think.

Thanks to a tip from Calichef, my printer is functional again. She told me to do something that I thought I had already done. When I went back to try again, I discovered that was a step that I had not taken.

I know I have virus and pop-up protection, and an e-mail filter, but as for other, unknown, programs, I haven't a clue how to check for those. I'm hoping Cali can make it here and check me out. This thing is so slow, and getting slower! I even did a defrag, and that didn't help any.

I think I'll head for bed. Tomorrow is another doctor appointment for Harry. Plus some lab work. So I need to get out of here early in the morning.

Shalom

I wonder if you have adobe reader messing something up. It sure did a number on my computer..
I had a perfectly good edition on the puter when I got it.. But when I updated to the newer edition.. Oh my .. It froze up.. it wouldn't open anything. just refused to work at all.
I had to turn it off and start over. The trouble now.. I can't go back to the original edition. I'll be careful what I download next time

Drat.. I wish you good luck with this problem

Sounds like you have been staying busy!
We finally have a break in the rain. I bet we had close to 12 inches in 5 days.
Glad your printer is up and going. I get really crabby when things don't work and I can't figure out why.

there are 3.785 litres per gallon, so essentially we're paying $4.88 a gallon over here. of course its not in u.s. dollars but really, all things are relative
