Yesterday morning I woke up to fog, but by the time I left to walk to shul the sun had put in an appearance. Looked like a promising day. When I cam back from shul, I opened all the windows and didn't close them until about 10 pm. It isn't official for a couple more weeks, but I do believe that Spring has sprung.
Today I may have wakened too late for the morning fog, but that's OK by me. I went to the yarn store and got the yarn that I had ordered. The freeway was mostly clear, and I made good time. Kept watching the gas gauge, though. Made it to my favorite gas station with gallons to spare, so it took less than $20 to fill the tank.
Trouble sleeping, though. Common side effect of one of the blood pressue meds I take is muscle cramping. And in spite of the Klonopin I take for that problem, the cramps still wake me about two hours after I go to bed. I'm going to try to take a walk around the premises before I go to bed, and see if that helps. I know inactivity doesn't help any, and on a couple nights a week I have about 3 hours of TV watching. So, some kind of exercise is in order.
Banshee has discovered the TV. Don't know how much color he sees, but the action seems to fascinate him. Have to try him with a talk show (I hate those), and see if it's voices or action that attracts him. He's also discovered the joys of the (dry) bathtub. Also he walks the rim of the tub between the shower curtain and the outside curtain. I'm tempted to give him a little noodge and have him join me under the shower.
Nah. He'll probably bite my toes or do some other kind of revenge damage to me.
Well, back to the mail. It does pile up if I don't get to it regularly.
Shalom
