Rowena's poem
Sat Jun 18 2005

Am I just a memory, a plain old memory?
Am I just a memory that crosses through your mind?
I see myself in the mirror,
but it seems no one else can.
When I walk, no one even says hello.
But when I'm with you,
that all seems to fade.

**********

Well, no shoes. We never made it to Wal-Mart, and her Dad is going to pick her up tomorrow morning, so that takes care of shoe shopping for the nonce.

*********

More rain and cool weather. In mid-June. Unheard of in Sacramento.

*********

Got my party invitation finally created. Now to the printer.

***********

Been taking that pernicious medicine at half dose and with food. No more pain. So far. Will try a full dose, but with food and see what happens.

*************

I guess that's it for today.

Shalom

We're having really cool, rainy weather, too. If it weren't for the calendar and the fact that it gets dark so late, I'd never know it was supposed to be summer.

Haven't been here in a while, and really just wanted to say Hi, but couldn't resist the weather comment!

    Hugs,
    Ani

Memories are what remains of our travel through life, for if we could not recall, then we have never lived. It is the memory of life implanted by others in the cornner of the mind that I find more clearly and hold dear.
My sandbox has many hidden but happy or sad I hold them dear when they pour out grain at a time for that is life .

I know it's not your favorite kind of weather... but I sure am enjoying it myself! I guess HaShem just can't please everyone eh?

    Dear Chaya,

Thank you for your comment and your concern. I received an anti-tetanus jab after being bitten by the cat, so my shots are updated after all.

We don't know much about Amber's history except that the SPCA took her off Animal Control because they didn't want the impounded dogs to be put down. We adopted her a few months after she was brought to our shelter. But she wasn't afraid of men until 4 or 5 months ago. She was fine with men before.

    Have a good week!

    Love,
    E.L.
