In fact an uncommonly good day.

             MY CAR PASSED THE 
                 SMOG TEST!!!!


I expected to have to have a lot of work done, but it PASSED!!!  But it still needs a lot of work done.

I misplaced the DMV notice about the registration renewal and Test Only smog test.  Been searching high and low.  I guess the Black Hole still has it.  

Anyway, I went to the Test Only place and they didn't need the DMV form, and then a gentleman waiting for his car reminded me that AAA takes care of re-registration, and I don't need the DMV form.  

Now, why didn't I remember that???  I got the AAA membership for emergencies--like flat tires on the freeway--but there are so many other services available to members!  I keep forgetting.

Anyway, I went to the local AAA office, got my registration and the red tag for 2006.  I'm set to go.

Also, I took an antihistamine this morning when I got up, knowing I was going to be out in that "stuff" whatever it is, and the asthma is pretty much under control.  But I did remember to take my inhaler--just in case.

So the day started well, continues well, and I expect the evening will be good too.
