Dr was out of the office today, but I say his Nurse Practitioner.
I have a trial size med to take over for the Klonopin, which isn't working as well as it's supposed any more. Also a sleeping pill to help me get back to my regular sleeping habits. You've probably seen the one with the butterfly floating around. That's the one.
Had blood drawn, then back home. I drove myself, but called the dr's office for a wheelchair. Just can't walk from the parking lot to the office, but I'm trying every day to walk a little farther.
My skin is so rough from the hives, and still a little itchy, and even though I slather lotion on, it still feels like sandpaper. I'm going to get some Aveeno oatmeal bath and cocoa butter and see if I can get my skin back to it's "normal" dry state. Also fill a prescription and get some quick-fix meals (microwaves are soooo handy!)
Need to make an appointment for a CT scan of my abdomen, then an appointment with the surgeon to see what the problem is there. And then my own doctor in another 2-3 weeks.
And my head is about to fall off my shoulders, so I'm turning off all the lights and going to bed.
Shalom

Hugs & Love - From:Camomille (Legacy)On:Sat Jan 07 2006How very uncomfortable it all sounds. . . .I hope they find the right combo of meds to help you feel better. That medicine is Lunesta . . . I see the ads . . . and I have actually seen and taken pictures of a moth like that . . . I had no idea moths could be so beautiful! Had I not seen a real one, I would have thought they made that one up digitally. The hives do sound like some sort of allergic reaction to the meds.
Sleep well! I do hope the discomfort ends soon . . .
Love,

p.s. ryc: the glasses are simply the reflection and nothing unusual. as for jessica and mice, its not something she often does, i think in the last year its only happened twice so twice i can handle - From:ImNotLisa (Legacy)On:Mon Jan 09 2006RYN: Check out knittinghelp.com - they have videos that show each type of stitch. It's helped me a great deal, or at least cut down on the irritation when I can't figure one out.
- From:CovertOps (Legacy)On:Tue Jan 10 2006Ohhh!!!! You poor dear! I don't want you to be unwell, Chaya. I want you to be healthy and robust and energetic like you once were. My poor darling Chaya.... Please take care, and get well soon. I wish I could do something to help.

E.L. - From:CovertOps (Legacy)On:Tue Jan 10 2006Re Your Comment on my stomach pains:
I think I could have a gastric problem. I suffer from general pain and discomfort when I don't eat, but as soon as I eat, I get sharp pains. Could it be gastric? I really should consult a physician but I can't find the time... yet.
Love,
E.L.
