A friend came over with her pickup truck and we took a tool storage chest to my daughter's house. Stayed and visited with my granddaughter for awile. Checked the progress of the apricot tree we planted a week ago. Doing fine so far, thank you. Also the pomegranate that's still in the container is showing tee-tiny red blossoms on one of the branches. It will be three years or so before either tree produces any fruit, but we'll wait.
My granddaughter decided her rabbit needed to enjoy some of the outdoors, too, so she put his harness on him and took him out where the grass is high. He had a fine time. Zeus. What a name for a little gray rabbit!
Friend decided she needed to stock up at the kosher store, and not having anything important to do, I decided to ride along. Good thing, too, cuz she was driving and I was passengering. 'Twould be a long walk home.
All together it was a good day. I just wonder when winter is going to show up again.
