Allimom doesn't care for Southern California in the summer, according to her comment to my last entry. However, Northern California, Sacramento specifically, is beastly in the summer, too. Triple digits for ten days in a row is not uncommon. So.....it's pretty much six of one and half-dozen of the other where I spend a week in July. At least there's air conditioning, and I don't plan on spending a lot time outdoors, anyway. In the summertime a cave would do nicely, except I have claustrophobia.
I was thinking Hawaii would be nice, but as I recall my last visit there (oh, so many years ago) that it was pretty humid along with the warm. So maybe Washington or Oregon coast would suit. Oh, wait, I just remembered, I have a friend who lives in Ft Bragg, and she says the temp stays pretty close to 60 degrees in the summer. But on the other hand, I think I'd like a little more warmth than that in July. Ah, well....
Wonder if I could wrangle an invite from my cousin who lives in Oregon, where Mt Hood can be seen from his living room window. What a view! I did a painting using a photo he had taken of that beautiful mountain. The last time I was there, I just about didn't make it to Portland for my flight home. It snowed overnight--18 inches as I recall--and we almost couldn't get the car out of the driveway. No, it wasn't July. It was November. But still, it was unusual for that much snow and that early in the year.
I was going to look at some more mail, but I think I hear my bed calling. Maybe tomorrow I'll wake up.
Shalom

Sweet dreams dear Chaya
Was the weirdest thing I ever saw.
We poor souls have tried for years and years to form the ( State of Jefferson ) that would be Sac. North to Medford OR. The Southern half take our water and our money and controls the money flow.
Now here in the mountains it was 48 this morning
and you open the windows at night and pull on up a blanket, if you close the house in morning it will stay nice all day with out A/C even if 94 outside. The resident Deer gang are dropping fawns now and about 50% of the Blacktail Doe's have twins . We do have a Mountain Lion problem
that is listed as endangered which is Flase and now house cats, dogs, horses, sheep are on the endangered side as the big cats have come into town on a weeky dinner bell.
It is illegal to shot on unless you prove he has a attack or killed a Non Natural food animal like a deer to get a permit to do so. Little after the fact be it a child, stock or pet don't you think.
Tinkerbell
I need to find Camelot. 70 - 80 year round, and only raining at night!

How about Malaysia? When the haze clears up you could fly here. I'd take you to see the villages and countryside. It would be a leisurely visit and you won't have to bust your @$$ (pardon my French!) trying to keep up with me. I'd love to have you as a guest.
Hugs and Love,
E.L.
It's good to sleep in! I wish I had that luxury! I have a bad case of conjunctivitis right now and have been sent home from work, so I have half the day off.
Take care and happy vacationing!
Love,
E.L.
