Krazy Kat
Mon Jul 18 2005

That's what I should have named him. Krazy Kat. He's a wild one.

The silly thing leaps straight up in the air, does a 180, and charges...whatever. Sometimes it's Banshee. Sometimes it's a piece of paper. And sometimes he just runs like mad down the hall, skids to a stop, or bangs into the bathroom door, then tears back into the living room.

He still hasn't figured out how to get up on the windowsills, so Banshee still has a "safe" place. I've described the relative sizes of the cats, so I gotta believe he's Krazy to initiate a rough and tumble. But he does. And Banshee isn't quite so gentle anymore. He doesn't do any damage, but he doesn't take any sass, either.

My shoelaces are still an object of great fun.

It's about time to go to bed, so I hope he's found a place to flop and sleep. Funny when he's going on a mad tear, then all of a sudden he's sprawled out on the floor fast asleep.

Rowena has some blistering from her sunburn Saturday. I've been applying aloe. Fortunately, I have a plant and don't have to run to the drug store and buy aloe vera cream. She's been lethargic these two days, so I think she had a bit of heat exhaustion, too. I finally convinced her to go swimming this evening, and when it came time to get out, she didn't want to. But she is feeling better now. The swim was therapeutic.

Oh, and KK joined her in the bath after the swim. I insist on shower or bath to get rid of all the chlorine. KK was all curious about what was going on, and ended up in Rowena's (bare) lap and drinking the bath water.

I tell you that cat is weird!

Shalom

Since you and AllIMOM were talking about books, I wanted share this with you.
I came upon a book by accident called, Devotion by Katherine Sutcliffe. I loved it. It is mostly a sort of love story.
I then got Obsession by same author. She picks up where she lift off in Devotion. I listened to it all in one day. *I listen to books on tape*
    I loved it.

Krazy Kat is a real side show,They can read your mind . Some will take to water but most just like to just be around it. Better than a TV for a laugh.

What a clever darling brilliant kitty Krazy Kat is! And he isn't even afraid of water! Are you sure he has no Turkish Van cat blood in his breeding? Not many breeds of cat take to water as easily.

As for leaping and sudden movements, Chloe used to be prone to that as well, but you know cats... they mellow as they grow older.

But isn't he a barrel of fun right now, though!

    Lots of Love,
    E.L.

The best stuff I have ever seen for burns is Silver Sulfadiazine cream.. 1%
this stuff is phenomenal. *probably not available without script)
It clears up blisters almost over night
Poor girl.. next comes the itching

Yeah: about my neighbor.. There are many things I should turn her in for.. The cats are only one .. The way she treats her kids.. parties all night and day, has teenagers over all night, buys booze for kids..
Oh don't get me started.. I know in my day I was a bit of a floozy too, but this one is just vile

Sounds like KK is keeping you quite amused in that way that kittens have. Wish I had that much energy *sigh*

New Jersey sign language uses only the middle finger of either hand ... hence the reason I don't use it around the kids.
