1. Equal parts of plain yogurt and mayonnaise (NOT salad dressing. I use Best Foods mayo)
2. Add enough milk to thin it to a consistency you like.
3. Add garlic powder to taste (crushed garlic clove, if you like)
4. Add Lawry's Seasoned Salt, but use a light hand and taste it before proceeding.
5. Tablespoon (heaping) of sweet pickle relish.
6. Now here's where the special comes in:
Use herbs (preferably fresh) like dill, rosemary, sweet basil, tarragon, celery seed (or whatever else sounds good). Celery seed is nice if you're not using celery in the salad itself. I especially like rosemary and tarragon together. Dill by itself is yummy, especially if you want to use the concoction as a dip.
Put all this in a jar with a tight cover and shake it and shake it and shake it until everything is blended. I suppose you could use a blender, but I prefer the shake method.
Then taste it again and add whatever else you think it needs.
So that's my "special" dressing. Enjoy.

I am sure I will be able to find a replicate for the Lawry's. I can't wait to make this now, we are eating so much salad at the moment...
Thank you for your very kind offer to mail it if I kind get it.
