Dear Diary
Sun Feb 09 2003

Dear Diary, I've been neglecting you. Been trying to think of what I do or what I think that may be of interest to anyone who might happen to read this. Honestly, I'm so boring!

I got a bunch of artsy-crafty stuff out of my dining area, so now I have a little more room to move around. Also put away a computer that crashed and I don't have reboot disc for. So there's more space in the living room. I can actually get to the window to open the blinds without squeezing between the chair and the table.

The cat, Miki, is not well (again). Had to make an emergency visit to the vet, to the tune of $$ I couldn't afford to spend. Ah, well. She's my baby, and I hope to have her around awile longer.

Wrote a couple of emails to people I haven't heard from in awhile. Now I need to get to the typewriter to write a letter to a friend who doesn't have email. Can you imagine? In this day and age, someone doesn't have email? Oh, am I being smug? Well, she had a very good reason for not having email. She's out of the country for weeks on end, and when she got home, her email was full of spam and maybe a dozen items she really wanted to look at. She she resigned from email.

I noticed the almond trees are in full bloom. Beautiful. Just hope the fruit sets before the March freeze we usually have.

Well, Diary, as I said, I'm boring. So I guess I'll go to bed. Maybe my dreams will be more interesting.
Shalom.
