I wish Steve would hurry up with whatever it is he's doing to DD.  It's been five days now since I heard from anybody thru DD.    I did get an e-mail from Dreamerbooks with links to her newest entry, and a couple other things. 

I think I'm gonna get the Moody Blues if I don't start getting some notifies.  Boo hoo. 

I'm going to be great-grandma to Dierdre  come December 9, or thereabouts, whenever she chooses to put in an appearance.  And with that thought in mind, I hereby launch the cyber shower for baby. 

G-gma gets to buy the crib, and that's it for the material things.  G-gma waves her fairy wand and gives Dierdre a happy outlook on life, and the will to go for and fight for, if necessary, the things she wants in life.

What "gifts" will all of you out there give her?  Please respond here, and I will print out and give to the parents when the happy time comes.

    I would like to give her the ability to "snap back" when adversity strikes. If there is illness or disappointment she will be able to take the time to "fix" herself and then come right back full-force. Also, I'd like her to be able to forgive herself when she makes a mistake or doesn't quite meet her goal and to always speak nicely to herself.

    BTW, the glitches going on here at DD are making it hard to leave comments, too. I share in your desire for Our Fearless Leader to hurry up and fix it already.

    I will pray and wish that she knows true peace and develops the ability to forgive and not take offense. Those two are sure pathways to peace.

    I would give to her the love of plants and nature for when she can see the beauty there, all is right with the world.

    I give her a night off to get caught up on sleep, a croched baby blanket, and a gift certificate for free monthly photos of the baby by a professional photographer for a year.

    Ooh ooh! I'm late due to computer stuff but how about a Baby Surprise Jacket? I'm itching to make one and this'll give me the perfect excuse. :o)

    Well, the boxes and vacuums went into my closet which had room for them. And the jackets went into Hub Man's den closet. Plus I threw a few things away....
