It was...
Fri Feb 27 2004

Another one of those crazy days. Rain, wind, sunshine, rain, wind, sunshine. Seems Ma Nature couldn't decide what she wanted to do with the day.

I had trouble keeping warm today. Both heaters going--one of them set at 80--and I'm wearing a sweater.

The wind and rain didn't do any damage that I could see to the flowering almond trees. I did notice that some of the trees were beginning to show some tender green leaves through the blossoms.

And yes, that salmon colored bush is a flowering quince. Thank you, Yetzirah. I bought one in a gallon can one year, but didn't get it into the ground quickly enough, so it died. Maybe I'll try again sometime. Difficult to know where to put it on someone else's property, though. It would be a definite improvement to the looks of the area around this apartment.

I'm still not getting notified when "friends" post their diaries. I don't know what's wrong. Wrote another note to Paivi this evening. I can click on the "friends list" but it's so darned time consuming.

Now MSN Messenger is paging me. This crazy computer cuts me off in the middle of reading something, telling me that the computer has been idle. Idle, my left foot. I'm reading! I need to get my son up here and fix this thing. He put it together. He should fix it.

Ah, well, enough kvetching for the evening.

Shalom, y'all.

    You're still having problems??!

The weather here has been mad too, last week was warm enough to go out in a light jacket, this week has been bitterly cold and this morning we woke up to snow and I so want Spring to come soon...

hope you are feeling better now...
