Fall equals stew
Fri Oct 03 2008

I have started my first stew of the season.  Seems appropriate since the sky is cloudy, the temperature is considerably lower than it was last week, and I even got six drops of rain on my windshield, and three specks on my face as I walking to my door.

I hope it pours buckets, and I don't care if I get wet going to shul tomorrow.  I will rejoice in it.

Oooh, where are my rain boots?  Last I saw them they were in the ... hmmm ... entry closet I think.

Oh my! That stew is smelling good.

Bless

It's been raining here all day. YIPEE!!
I have a pot of chicken soup simmering on the stove.
Enjoy your stew and the rain when it comes.

I hope I'll feel like it's all worth it when it's over, but yeah it sure seems like a lot of work putting a wedding together! Lucky you just turning up on time! :)

Ahhhh. Yes, Fall does have its blessings, and stew is one of them!

I hope you had to use an umbrella, going to shul!

    Dear Chaya,

At the risk of being politically incorrect, I shall practice being a Jewish mother with you:

"Stew Schmew! Again with the rain boots! If you could unscrew your head and lose it in the entry closet, you would!"

    How am I doing?

Much love & no offence meant,
    E.L.
