I've lost my mind
Wed Feb 13 2008

If anybody finds it, would you please send it home? I miss it terribly.

I went into the bedroom three times to take my bedtime meds. The first time I went in, I took off my blouse and bra and put on my jammie top.  The second time, I took off my shoes and put on my slippers.  I finally remembered, the third time, why I was actually going into the bedroom.

Repeat this several times a day for various and sundry reason, and you'll see why I miss my mind.  My grandma always said "Use your head to save your feet." But when there's nothing IN there to use --  ?

I am breaking out in hives!!!  What in the world? I'm gonna go take an antihistamine.  BRB.

I used to get hives when I was a kid, but haven't had a break-out in a long time.  Now I have to do some serious thinking and find out what's doing this to me now.  Hives and a very red rash on my belly at my belt line.

I got to play with my baby today while Tracey and Gryffan hauled boxes from my back room to her pickup. She's just adorable. Her eyes are going to be the changeable hazel. Brownish. Bluish. Greenish. Depending on her mood and/or what she's wearing.  But there's no doubt about her hair.  Red.  Carrot red.

I can't believe that two-month-old baby has developed a definite personality.  She smiles and laughs, and makes baby noises in response to voices. It's as if she's carrying on a conversation.  Sometimes she gets a quizzical look, as if asking "What in the world are you talking about, Grannie?" Then she'll laugh.  Yeah, a real honest-to-goodness laugh.

Did I mention she's adorable?

It's after midnight, and I have a big day ahead of me.

Bless

When I was 13, I developed a bright red rash-ring around my waist and my thighs. It turned out that I'd developed an allergy to elastic, of all things. Dressing in elastic-free, true "granny panties" at 13 was no thrill, I promise you. Having to change during PE was sheer hell. It was only temporary, thankfully.

Several years later they started making decent looking undies with covered elastic. I still prefer them-- just in case.

Dang Hivies!! I know how that goes and it is not fun.
I trace my bout to any MED. that ended with Tyclines and also Crab which I love turned on me and Each time I gave in and had just had to try it Yep welts and up all night. My Doctor put a end to that as he said next time it might close my windpipe and you just might not make it. SO had to pass up on Crab. Shrimp does not effect me if I don't get carried away,Hope you find the trigger soon for not fun. I dearly love shell fish .

"It isn't what ya gotta do that keeps ya busy; it's what ya gotta do before you do what needs to be done before you can do what ya gotta do in the first place."

I totally understand. I'm currently waiting to get into the shower... because I'm doing a load of laundry... so I have clean, pretty undies... so I can go to the doctor tomorrow... so I can pee in front of a bunch of strangers... so I can get a diagnosis... so I can stop the incontinence... so I can feel normal again. Sheesh!

Yup, it's all the stuff you gotta do BEFORE the stuff you gotta do to get to the stuff you gotta do.

This is the truth.. i have to write down when i take my meds so that I can remember.. You are sharp as a tack as far as I'm concerned.. I wish I had your mind..

Oh loves and hugs to the babe... yep.. they have personalities so quick.. My daughter came out with an attitude.. and my son just the opposite.. I used to say.. Tara came into the world flipping the finger to the world.. Justin came in flashing a peace sign...

So what was the dinner you would make for your valentine??

If it will be of any help to you, i have lost my mind about nine years ago when I moved into the place I have moved into. I do have to admit that I have met some real nice people and feel inseparable from a couple of them, but honestly I have lost my mind a long time ago.
