Painreliefpainrelief. And it goes on.

I'm sleeping with a soft cervical collar, backward, at night. Keeps the cervical vertebrae extended, and prevents my head from assuming hurtful positions.

I am so tired of sleeping on my back. My preferred position is on my right side, but that hurts my neck; and sleeping on my left side hurts my neck and shoulder.

The neck exercises do help some, for awhile.

I know my pain is boring, but my life seems to be centered around its presence or absence.

A lot of responses from the Laibl Wolf entry. Seems the anger thing is a real problem for us. I don't know about you, but I expect I'll forget to stand back and ask "What is happening here?" and go ahead and blow. But with practice, maybe it'll become easier.

However, I must say that I don't anger easily. As I've grown older (but not necessarily wiser) I've learned that a lot of stuff just isn't worth the blood pressure. And the people I mostly associate with are pretty nice people.

It's the WORLD that gets me stirred up. But let's not go there right now.

True story: A friend of mine was riding with an older lady (and I use lady in the precise sense). Some young, very bad mannered driver in a big pickup truck cut her off on the freeway and flipped her the bird as he passed. Made her so mad she ran up her radio antenna at him.

Well, I'm going to go do the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle.

Shalom

I know the pain really colors your life. I know I felt like that was all I talked about (well it WAS all I talked about) but no thought or action takes place without the pain being part of it when you are SUCH pain. I really feel for you and wish I were closer to help you out. I'm glad you posted, I've been thinking about you and of course worried about you.

Thinking of you and praying for you,
    Love,
    Anne

LOL! That's a very creative way of letting someone know your displeasure!

Some of the better bumper stickers I've seen: "Horn Does Not Work. Watch For Finger." and "Please Do Not Honk. You'll Wake Up The Driver."

I am so sorry you are still having pain. I wish I could do something. Has my Chinese New Year card arrived yet?

I wish you an end to all the pain and discomfort. Only wonderful, flexible, painless and active days ahead!

    Lots of Love,
    E.L.
