Yetzirah and I did a lot of walking yesterday, and I without my cane. So now my legs are cramping. Had a very pleasant day with her, and some interesting conversations. We're two entirely different personalities, and I entirely enjoy time spent with her.
Yetz did the driving yesterday, and after we finished all our gadding and money spending we went to her home for the evening. Her husband drove me home (by prior agreement), and he talked the whole drive about his hobby. Wow! I was even getting enthusiastic!
It was a nice day. Coolish, but clear skies. I've been sneezing and sort of asthmatic the last several days, so Spring really is on the way.
But today...
Took Harry to the VA for one of his monthly tests, and on the way back home it looked like it was going to be another nice day, but the clouds started gathering again.
I went to bed early, but didn't sleep well last night, and was in no way ready to get up to take Harry to his appointment. Yeah, the day started grumpy.
All I wanted was to go back to bed. Neighbor ML came over to watch her soap opera and we discovered that my TV wasn't working. All I got was a bright blue screen. For the last couple days Comcast people have been around, and early today installed cable in my new neighbor's apartment. If ML had come over a half hour earlier, and discovered the TV wasn't working, I could have caught an installer and maybe had the problem taken care of. But now, I have to wait until tomorrow for an installer (troubleshooter?)-- anywhere from noon to 5pm.
Bah! Tonight is one of my big TV nights. GRRRRR.
I did go back to bed, and slept for about 2-1/2 hours. With the cat between my legs. I got up a little before time for IMing with my sister. Got into a mild argument with her about an email we had both received. The email made me mad, but she just brushed it off (which was the better response). I don't recall that we've ever had a real honest-to-goodness argument, but I'm sure we must have at some time. But we managed to drop the subject and continue on to pleasanter subjects.
Rabbi is gone for the weekend. Some big bar mitzvah somewhere out of town, so no Kabbalah class tonight. No TV, no class, so I read a book. I'm sleepy and have a mild headache, so I'm off to bed. Maybe read a diary or two first.
But remember to take the quinine caps so the leg cramps don't wake me again.
Shalom
