Vivian(Chaya) is doing well.  Her Blood pressure seems to be under control as is her pain.  Pain is much better, it comes and goes but it not as intense as it was.  She is now taking liquids and clear solids (if you consider Jello a solid) by mouth, and is beginning to pass some gas (which she has to do before the doctor will even think about releasing her.)  She went for a walk this afternoon and will take another one after her dinner.  She expects to be in the hospital another 3-4 days, depending on her continued improvement.

I think her breathing may improve rapidly.  She said I was to be sure to tell you that she has the Hunkiest therepists to work with.
