I finally got it all cleared out. Now, I can do something about my diary. But first, I need to get organized. I want to continue writing about my flying lessons, but I need to go thru my log book and get some sort of an organized idea of what I want to talk about.

I need to go thru the boxes I have stored in my daughter's garage and see if I can find my first solo certificate. I'd also like to find my student pilot's license, too, but I have no idea where to look for that. Must be with the same junk as the solo certificate.

Oh, well.

It turned out to be kind of a hot, muggy day today, but I sense that Fall is just around the corner. I'll be glad for cooler days. The trees haven't started turning yet, but I notice that there are a lot of leaves falling from the tree outside my apartment. Goodbye Summer. I won't miss you at all!!!!

The State Fair is going on now, and I haven't heard from my granddaughter about her day at the Fair. She was invited by a friend's mother to go with them. Darned kid! She should know that g'ma wants to hear all about it. Shouldn't she?

I really don't have anything to talk about today. Just babbling. Just to let y'all know that I'm back. I finally just indiscriminately deleted everything that was more than a week old. That was the only way I was ever going to get caught up. Yes, Ozone, I did unsubscribe from some of those "liberal" (your words) newsletters. Not because I disagreed with them, but because I don't have time to read EVERYthing.

Y'all have a wonderful evening!!

hehe, here you are wishing summer away and i'm wishing winter away ;)
i think the changes of season come at exactly the right time, don't you? any less and perhaps we'd still be enjoying the warmth, any longer and we'd be getting grumpy at all the rain or heat
i'm glad you're back, thanks for all the comments you've left lately on my entries, you're a great support
here's hoping you don't experience the same onslaught of email like last week

Hehehe....that is good to hear :) Glad you got rid of the log jam. I'm looking forward to hearing some more about your flight experiences. I have been thinking lately about taking some flight lessons, I doubt it will go beyond thinking about, but I can dream.

Take your time, dear Chaya. Come back when you're good and ready and you'll find out that old E.L. will still be sitting here in front of the 'puter waiting to read your entries.
I too have too much e-mail but because I use a Bulk Mail Folder system, I just delete all the bulk mail without having to do it to every individual spam.
Yes, your granddaughter should be coming over for a chat sometime soon. So, why didn't YOU go to the State Fair?
If I were there, I'd take you. I've got my driver's license now, see?
    Take care!
    Love,
    E.L.

    P/S: Thanks for the Angels!

    Dear Chaya,
Re Your Comment: There are bridges connecting the two parts of the shopping mall. The bridges just weren't in this picture.
And yes, Jake, Sam, and the boys eat out or take out almost every day.
The fridge has beer in it but also inedible old stuff.
    LOL. Men!
    Take care!
    Love,
    E.L.

I have my log book, and my solo certificate too. It says I am a male as they were not produced for females. "his first solo fight" mine states! Now you have me wondering about my student license, and my FCC licence for operating a radio.

i'd have to agree, people are learning to not be accountable for their own actions so its everybody elses fault when things go wrong. doesn't it make you wonder where all this is headed??
