I have in mind a trip around the world in a sea-going, luxurious yacht. The yacht will sleep six, besides the navigator and mechanic, so I'm inviting anyone who wants to, to come along. Also, I need people at the various ports of call the fill in the story.
Here's the way it'll work:
I start the story by sailing from San Francisco to Hawai'i. There I'll tell my tale about my adventures there. Next port of call will be Tahiti, and Miss Tick has opted for that port. After she has told of her adventures, we will go to Malaysia (Covert Ops??).
After Malaysia, we'll head for Australia/New Zealand. Put in for maintenance and re-provisioning. Who wants to be the guide for this stop-over? One for Australia and one for New Zealand, maybe?
From Australia/New Zealand, we'll go to India. Oh, such history, and what sights in that beautiful country. Who will be our guide?
When we leave India, we'll progress through the Red Sea to the Mediterranean area, with brief stops in Israel, Greece, Italy and Spain. Surely there's someone who can guide us in those ancient places.
Then we'll proceed through the Straits of Gibraltar and head for England. There we'll stop for maintenance/repairs and re-provisioning. Who will guide us on tours in Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Who will show us the beauties of the English countryside?
OK, heading back to the US, we'll put in for a gander at New York City and Washington, DC. I'm sure there's somebody amongst us who can describe the grandeur of those two cities, and find us an adventure.
After NY/DC, we'll head down to the West Indies and bask in the sun and enjoy the native culture, and maybe some vooooo*shiver*dooooo.
Then we'll head through the Panama Canal and back home to San Francisco.
Now here are the rules:
1, Within FIVE DAYS, you need to post your entry, even if our stay covers two weeks.
2. You e-mail your entry to me ([email protected]), and I'll incorporate it into the story so far.
3. Instead of waiting until everyone has sent me ChapterX, I'll publish in DD in serial style.
Who wants to take a trip around the world?
Volunteers?
I'll start the first leg of the story if anyone shows any interest in the project.
Shalom, and bon voyage.

trouble is.. I've only been through my own country and surrounding (canada and mexico) - From:CovertOps (Legacy)On:Wed Apr 05 2006Dear Chaya,
Not sure I'll have the time to write a story, and even if I did, it wouldn't be half as good as yours.
I did enjoy your little trip around the world a lot, though, but if you do come to Malaysia, I'll make you stay for at least half a year! I wouldn't let you leave! I'd make sure you try out everything there is to see and eat and do!
Moral of the Story: Please Come To Malaysia!
Lots of Love,
E.L.
