Ow-ow-ow
Mon Mar 03 2008

I don't know what I did to make my back so angry, but I'm in serious pain.  I just took a couple acetaminophen and hope that'll take the edge off.

When I get done here, I'm going to park myself on the heating pad and watch TV for awhile.   I have three bags of groceries to put away, but they can wait until morning. I put away the ice cream and cream cheese, and that's enough; the rest can just wait.

I think I just reminded myself what I did today to set off my back.  I bought cat litter.  Two containers, each weighing 28 pounds.  The help at PetCo took the cat litter and jugs of food out to the car for me, but I had to haul them into the apartment. That's what did it.

So.  Now I'm taking some snacks over to the recliner, and I'm going to let the acetaminophen and the heating pad do their work. I might even stay awake during the TV programs to follow.

Bless

Ooww. That's a lot of hauling you did. No wonder your back hurts. I hope by the time you see this that your back doesn't hurt at all!

I just read on Mamalama's diary that you learned how to body surf. I am ALL envy. Except for the sunburn part, of course. But dang. I wanna body surf, too!

    Hugs and love,
    Ani

Like Watersprite, I hope your back doesn't remember today's injury when you wake tomorrow.

I have the same issues at Costco with big things. But thankfully You Know Who takes them out of the car for me later. But you should see me sometimes clunking things into the trunk ... it's like trying to move a dead body!

    Hope you feel better soon.

Ouch! Maybe you think about buying the litter in smaller containers. May cost a little more, but the back won't be so angry.

RYC - Body surfing?!!! You are much braver than I!
    Hugs, Tiggs

Oh back pain is the worst.. Does it feel on fire??
Sometimes a heating pad is the best thing. I think it allows the muscles to relax some...
Yeah.. 28 lbs X's 2 is a lot to haul around..
