Bad computer
Sun Feb 08 2004

I can't get into my e-mail. Haven't been able to since Thursday evening. Even then it was reluctant. Don't know what's the matter, i.e., particularly the e-mail when everything else works.

I have 217 pieces of mail waiting for me (the little icon at the top of the page tells me), and among those will be various diaries. Until I find out what the problem is and correct it, I can't read anything that comes through e-mail.

Granddaughter was on earlier and she was able to get into her e-mail, so what's wrong with mine????

Actually, there's not been much to write about the last couple days, anyway. Today was a bad day. Headache all day long, but I won't bore you with details.

Anyway, just wanted to let people know that I'm not ignoring you. I just can't get to you.

I'm working on the problem.

Shalom

Sorry to hear about the headache.
You know, I still like the look of this diary!
    It's so bright and cheery!

I hearby make humble application to apprentice myself to you for transformation into eccentric over 50 female. I aim for the highest standards of eccentricity, with special emphasis on witty poetry written for special occasions. I am prone to fits of novel writing and or delusions of grandure (and I think that is spelled wrong). So also apply for your services as editor in chief.

    Your humble servant,

    Yetzirah

PS To be filed until I reach what you consider to be the appropriate age for beginning my training.

Hi there! Now, when you make an entry, you can choose 'make completely private', 'friends only' or 'whatever the other thingy says where everyone can read - public?'. If you choose the 'friends only' then only people you chose to be your friend can read the entry, and only after logging on. If you log on to mine and can't see the entry, it's because of a computer setting with your cookies (see the DearDiary1 diary for more on that).

I like this because there is a lot I want to say to my friends here but that I don't necessarily want people I work with or people in my past life reading, you know? Sometimes for their own privacy as well.
