Change of pace
Mon Jun 22 2009

Instead of getting in a car and being driven to a doctor's office, or being wheeled into an ambulance to go to the hospital, I got in a car and was taken to lunch.

But before lunch, I grabbed a grocery cart and ambled (slowly) into the store and got some cat food and a hunk of cheese.  I should have gotten some potato chips, too.

Anyway, we came back here so I could fill the cat's feeder (it has been empty since last night), then we went back to the restaurant and had some very nice sandwiches and some very weak tea. And some very good gossip time.

Then Lynn brought me back home and I collapsed on my bed.  Whew! It plumb wore me out!

I was able to rest and get enough strength back to have a nice IM chat with Marian.  Now, I'm going to fix some dinner.

Bless

Ah, how nice to get out.
I remember those days last summer when I was laid up. It was always so good to get home again, too.
    Hugs, Tiggs

Sounds like a major improvement to me! Lunch and grocery shopping sounds good. At least it's normal stuff. Your birthday is coming up. Did you get my parcel yet? I sent it over a week ago.

Sounds like you are making great progress!!
    Happy Birthday tomorrow..
I'll update soon.. been very busy.. Mom was back in hospital this past week and having lots of tests.. Not really a diagnosis yet.. which is maddening considering the price of 3 days in hospital!!
Anyway. hope you have a special day tomorrow and enjoy your health as it improves!!
