Of course, I want Gryffan and Tracey to have a long and wonderful life together. And I wish them all the good things in life together. But they're taking my baby away. 

Tracey has been accepted for training as an air traffic controller. They will be going to Oklahoma City for three months, then she will be assigned to the airport in Santa Rosa.

That's not very far away from here, and I've informed Gryffan that I plan to make a monthly visit, and they are to put up with me. He said that was agreeable, but I don't know if he's passed that on to Tracey.

I'll be having two boarders while they're gone: Moose and Windigo.  Missy and Windigo were getting along well when they lived here before, but several months have passed and Windigo is now a grown-up, and she and Missy may not be quite so chummy.

Missy may decide to target Moose (Mustache), and that would be a blessing for Banshee. I hope Windigo has a better disposition than Missy has, or she may take on Banshee while Missy terrorizes Moose.  Well, this will be interesting.

And I'll have another litterbox to take care of. I wish there were a way to give Banshee his own, private box, but the only way to do that is to isolate him and his box in an impregnable room. Can't you just see that happening?  But he'd be so lonesome. He wants petting and loving and lap time as much as any other kitty. And Missy will use whichever one she happens on first.

Why couldn't they take the cats and leave Deirdre with me?
