Another day
Lynn called me this morning to remind me that I was sitting for her today. This was an arrangement made at least a week ago, and I had totally blanked it out. She had a seminar to attend and couldn't be back in time to pick up the girls from school, and she had a date tonight.
No problem. She actually got home a few minutes after the girls and I got home. This evening I took them with me to my class. I didn't know how much homework they had to do, but apparently that wasn't a problem, either. Nicole had none, and when we got back to their home, Caitlin quickly typed out a cute story for class tomorrow.
This is carrying Wednesday's date, but it's actually my entry for Tuesday. OK?
Bless

Now aren't you glad the girls are so independent when it comes to homework?
Say, you could backdate an entry, you know. When you add an entry, you could adjust the date. It works for me.
Lots of love to Missy and Banshee and the girls,
E.L.

What a nice lady! Even if you do fudge on your entries!

I love that ''okay?'' on the end! Hmmm...Let me think...yeah, I guess that's okay! I smiled to read about your taking care of the girls, too. It just sounded like a nice, sweet time.
RYC: I put a piece of bubble wrap in with the card to cushion the button. I send beads through the mail all the time, so it should be all right, although certainly hand-canceling wouldn't hurt.
Big hugs,
Ani
