I'm in this apartment because it's what I can afford in this pricey neighborhood, and it's within walking distance of the synagogue.
I have two bedrooms, but need a third (or at least another room) where I can put this contraption and get the mess out of sight.
The living room is long and narrow, and it's impossible to rearrange funiture (not that I'm into that, but still...) The carpet is at least 20 years old.
The neighbors are noisy. Play their boom-boom at top volume (in spite of numerous complaints to them and the manager).
The more time I have the less I get accomplished. When I was a working gal, my place was neat as a pin.
And to ADM, yeah, let's associate. We can chat and moan together. But wait! You're at work while I'm asleep. Hmmm. Well, maybe we can still form Computer Junkies Anonymous.
Yes, I'm planning a vacation, and I can hardly wait. Hope to see you, too, Bec.
Well, I do have some ideas about the kitchen. Mentioned some ideas to Yetzirah. Her home is so clean and so serene. I love to visit her.
I've lost a floppy disk my sister sent me. I'm still hoping to find it under the pile of stuff that's threatening to fall over and bury me.
OK, so I guess I'll go play a few games of FreeCell, and go to bed.
Shalom, y'all.

Seems to me it's time for the apartment manager to replace the carpets, at the very least!
Do you know the dates yet of your vaca? You will definitely be seeing me one way or the other, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to meet you for anything. *smile*
Do you have a stereo or even a boom box? When apartment dwelling or even here sometimes, I put on a pair of cordless headphones and put on some relaxing music. The cordless headphones allow me movement in teh room without a cord to worry about. It's one way of tuning out outside noises, and a white noise machine in the evenings by the bedside. It's unfortunate the rude neighbors can't be quieted.
