The cats haven't quite come to an accommodation, but I caught them asleep on my bed today. Not close together, not cuddling, but on the same bed. Might I hope for accommodation?
Oh, hush! I'm not promoting anything but family harmony here. She's a baby and he's fixed.
The little girl plumb wore herself out playing with her string. First she wrestled with it all over the floor. Then she dragged part of it up onto the cat tree, then fought the rest of it that was hanging over. I think she had the idea, but it was more fun to drop the dangling end and drag it up again. Several times.
My attention was diverted by a newspaper article, and when I looked around after a few minutes, she had disappeared. That's when I found her on the same bed with Banshee. I didn't disturb them.
She is now asleep on top of a box of files. She opens one blue eye to make sure I'm still here, then reassured, goes back to snoozing.
Missy has discovered the bottom shelves of my computer desk. I dragged her out three times. When I went to get the "bad girl spray bottle" she decided to leave the shelves for another time, and lodged herself on the box of files.
As soon as I'm ready to go to sleep, Miss Beauty will be ready to play again.
This morning I turned on the wall furnace in the living room. Even with my heavy bathroom on, I was cold. My toenails were turning blue. It was a mostly gloomy day today. Low 70s, clouds, wind, but the sun did poke through for awhile this afternoon. Guess it's time to drag out the winter coats, cuz the crocheted shawls just don't do the job for now.
And for now, I'll read a few diaries and then go to bed. And hope that Missy and the RLS will let me sleep.
Shalom

My heart went all a flutter at the thought of you being a ''naughty'' girl =)
Beth should know =)
Oh, how wonderful! How sweet! The kitties asleep together! I can imagine how proud you must feel to witness that.
When Pixie first came home, it took Chloe close to 2 weeks to even start 'speaking' to him. Now they are the best of friends.
Wishing you warm, balmy days, sunshine and flowers,
Love,
E.L.
RYC: I hope you do make the drive up north. It is such a gift to the spirit to see such breathtaking natural beauty. I think of nature as a place of worship and never feel more at peace than in the woods or on a beach. Even seeing the trees along the road lfits the spirit.
It's getting down into the low 20's here at night *sigh*. I don't mind so much but Himself is dressing up like Nanook of the North every morning which is sort of embarrassing in this climate.
