One Tequila....
Fri Jan 28 2005

...Two Tequila, Three Tequila FLOOR.

Ahyep.

My doctor called an order to the pharmacist for Soma, a muscle relaxant. Hoo boy! Wheeeeeee!!

I remember a time I went out drinking with a friend. He and my daughter poured me into bed. After one and a half margaritas.

My husband called me a cheap drunk. Half a bottle beer and I'm gone.

Trouble is, the drug book I have says every 4-6 hours as needed. Doctor says two a day. And the effect is not lasting 12 hours.

Well, it's time for bed, anyway, so I'll take my heating pad with me, and hope a couple Tylenol will be sufficient to ease the pain (which is tolerable right now) so I can sleep. Can't be the Vicodin. Don't dare mix Vicodin and Soma. I really do want to wake up in the morning.

Tomorrow.

Shalom

When I went with my parents to South Padre Island, in Texas I saw a t shirt that read, "one Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila............FLOOR" With one of those mexican dogs in the picture. I just had to buy it, I love it.
WOW, sounds like you are not feeling so bad.......lol. I hope you get relief soon, I hate to read of you in pain. Good luck sleeping.

One Tequila....this entry brought back memories of the doctor putting Mom on "something to relax her" when we were kids. Since Mom basically ran on nervous energy, taking away the nervous meant that half a pill later Dad was pouring her into bed. She simply ceased to function until the doctor found some other way to get her to slow down. Forty years later, it's still funny.

    Sleep well.

Actually you can mix soma and vicodan .. They are totally different drugs.. infact, they make a soma with codeine.. So.. there you go. You can take them together if you want
I have that icon on one of my recovery pages (web site) .. Tequila deal.. with the guy hitting the floor.. :)
I never could drink. I was a cheeper drunk than you, alls I needed was to twist off the cap and smell the stuff!
    =-}
Anyway. I sure wish I were closer to help you
I have seen the movie What Dreams May Come. Robin Williams. I had forgotten it.. It came out in early 90's.. It is a very different movie than his others.. But then he is a varied actor.. I love him
Have a great weekend, at least pain free...

Oh I'm so sorry to hear you are still going through this! And sorry the meds aren't lasting long enough. I hope you are well soon.

Have you asked me questions lately I haven't answered? I have been able to read my comments and then not go and comment for awhile so I can't remember.

    Take care,
    Anne

OH boy it scares me to place my daily habits of 1 beer and two tall Vodka Tonic highballs for over 30 years. I only have (1) kidney and my Doc. said to have a beer each day to flush system . Funny that 30 years later it still keeps me healthy and strong.
Booze and pills are a whole other thing though
    and do not mix .
Hope you get the pain under control as it sure wares a body down

    Hi there,

I actually do most of my writing right on the DD site with no help of spell check as you have surely noticed! Hehehehe It's not that I can't spell or am not accurate, it's just that after a day of straight data entry I just am too tired and my fingers to worn out to really care if there are some typos. *smile*

After you copy and paste your entry out of work into your diary page, simply insert at the top the line of code for the font type and there it will be! Give it a try. I like comic sans too, it's a fave of mine.

I have to take the time to get all the ideas in my head into my web site - hopefully I will have some time to do that this weekend. I've been . . . well let's just say I've had other priorities I guess.

Hope you are feeling better! Seeing a comment from you is encouraging.
