I am planning my birthday bash for the 5th of July. I will be attending Shabbat services at the synagogue, then Kiddush (lunch) will be served on the premises after services (about 1pm). Anyone who wants to come to shul with me, be prepared for everything in Hebrew except the sermon. (I'll help you find the pages and the English translation.)

After eating and singing and stuff, we'll come back here for the rest of the day for socializing, getting acquainted, and whatever else happens. We're all a bunch of fun people. There's a pool, so bring your swimsuits. And sunblock. And for those of you who can spend more than the weekend, I'll give you a grand tour of Sacramento.

Mark your calendars now, and invitations will be mailed out at a later date.

It's three months, but I'm getting all excited planning.

***********
Another lovely day. Temperature in the mid-70s, and 80 expected by the end of the week.

Took Harry to another doctor appointment, did some shopping at the 99 cent store. Found a chef's knife that I hope will be sharp. I'm having an awful time finding good, sharp knives.

Also found some plastic tools for using with my brand new stainless steel cookware. And some dried figs, kosher!

Had a good sleep last night. Leg cramps didn't wake me. Really didn't want to get up, though. I've heard that the older one gets the less sleep one needs. Doesn't work that way for me.

So, on that note, I think I'll play a couple games of FreeChoice, then go to bed.

Shalom

"Sometimes I have a dream that seems so significant that it's almost like a prophecy. The rest of the time they're just a bunch of scenes, jumping from one place to another..."
I rarely remember my dreams too. But I would feel very uneasy, if in the morning I recall what's happenned to me at night (in a dream)..I don't concider my dreams to be prophecy or any of significant meaning, except from being purely the realisation of one or another of my deep secret wishes...sometimes those wishes could be rated ( ;-) ) as well as other times they could be just plainly boring...
Birthday party in the pool sounds absolutely fantastic! I like the part in the plan "and whatever else happens"! (coz we know that many of such "else" things are usually - the best in the programm!)...LOL...I will fill the tub here on that day - this way I might be able to virtually participate in your party even without my swimsuite ;-)

Okay. I was right. It was a birthday party. But now I am confused. What is the real date of your party. July 2nd or 4th.. ??
3rd is Sunday.. 4th is Monday and fireworks. But Sabbat is Friday??
I would really enjoy celebrating your birthday with you.. I doubt I'll be able to visit Calif this year.. I have tried to get away the past 2 yrs.. Maybe this year will be the charm..
    Lets hope.
    HUGS
