I finally have a new computer, thanks to my eldest granddaughter (eternal blessings on her!!)

I had 18 pages of mail, and I just deleted everything in May, although I did see some titles that looked interesting. Figured that if I stopped to read ANYthing, I'd be here forever. I still have 300 junk mails to check out, just in case there's something there that I might want to look at, like Good Morning (or Buongiorno, as it sometimes appears).

But even deleting all of May mail, I still have 11 pages of June mail to get through. Well, I guess that's what happens when I subscribe to this newsletter and that newsletter, and deardiary besides. But I think I'll read the diaries first, although I probably won't be leaving any comments. Well, hey, I gotta get caught up somehow!

To those of you who sent personal messages, sorry...but I deleted you, too. As I said, if I stopped to read everything I'd never get off this chair, so I made an arbitrary decision.

Anyway...I'm here now, and hope to stay.

    I am so very glad to see you back! That's a pretty wonderful grand-daughter you have there. Most of my stuff isn't worth bothering with. Just the same old whining, mostly. Skip it, if you'd like.

    I second Yetzirah's Hoo Rah so good to have you back. Dustbunny has been covered with dust balls and not had time to carry on the Journey.
    If and when I can get dusted off I will try to grow up.

    Yes, you are on my friends list! I think it's the old problems with security settings on your computer. I am tempted to just go back public totally again although I do have good reasons to stay private. Can you get into other people's friends only entries? Let me know if you are still having problems. If it comes to it I can give you my password.

    I'm so glad you have a new computer! That is soooo wonderful of your granddaughter. Yay!!!!!

    I know what is like to be without a computer for a period of time, but it's been an especially long time for you! It's great you can keep in contact with us here at DD as well as your personal friends and family again. For me, it is a lifeline as otherwise I would feel so isolated.

    Love to you! Can't wait to hear all your news when you have time to catch up.
