KK has discovered the joys of tearing into a Kleenex box.
I had just opened a box of tissues, put it on the floor next to my recliner. I heard a skritch-skritch-skritch, and discovered KK pulling tissues from the box. I moved the box to the lamp table, scolded him (which was like pouring water into a lake), and give it not another thought.
Went to bed. When I got up in the morning, about half the tissues were all over the living room floor. I went ballistic, and he just looked at me so innocently. Blue eyes totally bewildered.
That's not the end of it. I collected all the tissues and the box, put them in a plastic grocery store back. I wonder when I'll learn? He loves to get into plastic and paper bags. So once again, I gathered all the tissues that had been strewn across the floor, put them back in the bag and tied the handles!!! So far, the tissues are still safely stored in the bag, but what am I going to do when I want to use them? Take a tissue and tie up the bag? That's going to be very inconvenient when my nose starts to run.
Well, I gave him the empty tissue box to play with after I had removed the plastic from the opening. I thought if he got his head caught in the slit in the plastic, we might have a problem. Well, he got his head caught anyway. I had to chase him down the hall before I could grab him and remove the box. He's not so interested in it any more.
Banshee has finally figured out that he's welcome to lap time anytime. When my own Dennisthemenace isn't occupying my lap, Banshee is welcome. Well, he's welcome, anyway, but he doesn't care to share. So, we had a nice nap together this afternoon. There's something very calming about a purring cat on your lap.
Shalom

I would leave the box on his head for a while, at least until he's hungry and couldn't reach for a bowl...maybe cut a couple of holes for his eyes to see, but that's about it...oh, could be such a fun :-)
Hugs and lots of love from the last frontier,
