It's incredible
Wed Feb 02 2005

I'd like send a thankyou note to each and every one of you, individually, for your worries, support, suggestions...everything.

I've gotten words of encouragement and love from people I know only by their writings here in DD. A couple of you have just recently started leaving comments, and I feel the warmth of your good wishes.

Thank you so my, my Dear Diary Friends! And special thanks to Yetzirah who told me about this site. It's been a marvelous connection to the world. And the outpouring of love that I've had here, and read in other peoples' diaries is just amazing when one considers all the rancor in the world.

Thank you, all you lovely people!!

The JLI class was awesome this evening. During break one of the attendees commented that it's highly unusual to discuss sex as openly as we have here in these three classes. Not overt "how-to" stuff, nothing even begins to border on the pornographic. But it links male-female-God. Makes the male-female relationship sanctified.

I wish I could quote one of the pieces, but it's much too long. It's an argument the moon had with God at the beginning of Creation. Amusing in some places, but it points out that small is good, being female is wonderful. The moon is equated to the female in that we *receive* and nourish. I will show one little table that explains the difference.

MASCULINE FEMININE
Mashpia (giver) Mekabel (receiver)
Delivering Receiving
Resonating Developing
Doing Being
Form Essence

See how we mesh? I know some will question the meaning and relationship, and I'll be glad to answer questions, but it's just too much space-taking here to explain in full the relationships.

The Sun is the Giver, the Moon is the Receiver.

And here's another portion:

Rabbi Yossi was visited by Elijah the prophet. He asked him. 'It is written, 'I will make you an equal helper.' How does the woman help the man?"

Elijah replied, "A man brings home grain. Can he swallow down the grain? He brings home flax. Can he wear flax? Don't you see, then, that she illuminates his eyes and stands him on his feet?"

Goodnight, dear friends. It's wonderful to belong to such a community!

Shalom

Well, I see the spacing didn't work in the finished product. Hope you can decifer the Masculine/Feminine attributes.
