Andrew is the one who sent the pictures.
And lest you misunderstand what I said about his relationship with Su, let me clarify that, too. She is a very nice woman, and I'm extemely fond of her. For the life of me, though, I can't understand why she puts up with Andrew. (He can be difficult, which is putting it kindly.) It must be love. I know it is with him. He so adores her that he'll practically grovel at her feet if he's done something to displease her. And as for the building projects, he does those for her. The only thing he doesn't do is pour the concrete. He does have that done professionally. The rest of the job is a labor of love for his Lady Love.
I told him that if he ever decides to give up nursing he could be a general contractor. He says "Nah, that's too much hard work."
I do believe spring is here to stay. And I'm only too happy to report that little piece of information. It shouldn't get beyond 90 until next month, and July and August will give us plenty of triple digit days. Then I'll complain about the heat.
I see young people in the pool already. We need a *whole* lot more sunshine before the pool is warm enough for these arthritic bones. But Rena would spend the whole day there if I would let her.
Went to a party yesterday for a bride-to-be. The goodies were good beyond delicious! We all gave the bride advice or blessings. I'm not one to give marital advice, but I did make an observation. Men's minds are wired by testosterone, while women's minds are wired by estrogen. We may have the same goal in mind, but we approach it from different directions and for different reasons.
So, with those words of wisdom (eh?), I'll go read some more mail.
Shalom
