Shabbat with friends
Sun Mar 13 2005

It was a very pleasant evening.

I got acquainted with three cats and one dog. The Princess, an orange tabby, made up to me, and I feel honored. She doesn't do that with just anybody. The other two cats, one is BooBoo, but I don't remember the other cat's name, decided I was OK. BooBoo is all black, and the other cat is black but has a white bib. The dog, a Doberman, made a lot of noise when I first walked in, but she, too decided I was OK. In fact she got quite friendly with me, laying her head on my lap and asking for petting.

The food was good, but mostly the company was good. The pie was good, too, and what we didn't eat stayed there. I don't want to fail my new resolve on the first opportunity.

I do wish I could sell my organ. That's the only way I'm going to have a dining area. I'd like to invite guests to share a meal with me, but serving them on TV trays just doesn't seem like the way to go. Well, I guess another ad in the paper is called for. I wonder if churches have bulletin boards. Maybe I should look into that, as the organ would be perfect for a small to medium size church. If the next ad doesn't produce any results, I'll look into that.

I need to go look at some diaries. My mail is piling up again.

Shalom

no takers.. And it isn't like they aren't nice organs.. they are very nice!
I don't know.. just not high resell items
    but maybe you'll change things
Glad you enjoyed your supper and company and had a safe journey.. there and back

It is so great to have a pleasant evening out ' with such good Friends. I also love cats and dogs but never truster a Doberman or Rotwiler for they have triger points unknown to even the owners. One of my Male Blue birds is having his morning fight with his reflection in the window. It is mating time and my windows just cleaned a week ago are a mess of wing imprints.
This will pass in a couple weeks .
Set a price and have Dan place the ORGAN on E Bay.

What an absolutely lovely time you had, Chaya! I am so happy you had such a good time with your new fuzzy friends! I would love to have been there. I think the animals would come to me the way they went to you! I wish you could meet my 'girls'. Chloe and Amber would both find you very loveable and cuddly -- they like women and girls, the little darlings.

    Love,
    E.L.

Good luck selling the organ! I know what you mean about space - it seems I am always compromising. My recliner is where my dining table should be! My dining table is in my bedroom . . . . ????? Ah well it works for me.

Good for you for leaving the pie behind too. I know for me, it would not let me rest knowing it was within forking distance.

I think your idea for the organ is a good one . . . or even a daycare where they do some singing?
