Passover is Over
Tue May 03 2005

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm tired of matzah. There's not a crumb left in the house. I did eat a little matzah at the closing meal at the shul, but only as a requirement to eat the "bread of affliction" for a week.

I finally retrieved my Pesach no-nos today, and I have three boxes of food and utensils, and stuff to unpack and put away. Some of the things are give-away or throw-away, but I didn't have time to sort. Now I have to make time cuz I'm just simply NOT going to make room for the stuff that accumulates in the home of a packrat.

I think I'm going to have to make the acquaintance of FlyLady.

Tomorrow I'm going to Noah's Bagels and get my monthly supply of bagels. And then go across the parking lot to the grocery store and stock up on cream cheese. On some bagels I like butter, but others demand cream cheese.

Also tomorrow, I'm going to get all the Passover stuff put away, and the kitchen back to normal. Didn't have time to do it today because I was out almost all day with Harry and his doctor appointments. When I got home it was time to IM with my sister. Then...I had a nap. Two hours.

The email has piled up again, and maybe I'll have time tomorrow to clean up some of that. But I'm not hopeful. The living room looks like a tornado went through it, and the kitchen has to be put back together, and that's not going to leave much time for mail.

So, guys, bear with me. I'll catch up eventually.

Shalom.

re my friend with a kiwi accent: he didn't really have a kiwi accent (since he's american) but since i had 'talked' with him for so long via chat, in my head he had a kiwi accent as i'd never heard his voice before. make sense?

My mom tried out a new medication for her painful legs and it worked! She is doing really well and is comfortable.
I sent "the card", I figured it would be good to let one come abit early and let him wonder about it. HeeHee.
