I have a big problem. When I try to reply to an e-mail, I get a scam letter and a heading at the very top of the page that says FEDEX CUSTOMER (something or other). The scam letter says that several hundred thousand dollars have been posted to my ATM Mastercard, which card I don't own. And there's some more stuff about having paid various fees. The letter further states that the writer "Mrs. Mary Jones," is going to Iraq, and when she gets back she'll have her boss, etc., etc., etc.
I was able to backspace and eliminate the letter, but still hesitate to reply because there could be a worm or virus, or some other destructive thing that could be transmitted with my reply. Hilighting and delete didn't work.
Instant Message and DearDiary don't seem to be affected. So, if you're thinking of sending me an e-mail. . .DON'T. I won't be able to answer any e-mail until this is cleared up.

Hugs, Tiggs - From:CovertOps (Legacy)On:Mon Mar 24 2008Gee, that's really strange. All of us have received those letters, but it has never appeared in our Compose box for our onward and inadvertent transmission. Is there someone who could check your computer for you? Could Gryffan do it?
Thanks for the warning, we'll stop sending you e-mails until you let us know in your next entry that the problem has been resolved. And I hope it gets resolved soon!
