Rena here for the weekend. She came home with me Thursday after dinner. We had a very nice talk and love-time together on Friday. I told her I wanted SOME of her time as long as she was here. I'm willing to share her with her friends here, but I want some time, too. I got her to get into the closet and pull out all the games she's no longer interested in. (Been after her for weeks to do that.)
She and G spent a goodly part of Saturday today, then he came knock-knocking on the door today about the time I was ready to go do some errands, and that was the last I saw of her until about 3 hours later. Had to break up their schmoozing because it was time to take Rena home.
I'm convinced my granddaughter does not have an internal thermostat. It was down to 30 degrees last night and definitely chilly today. And she was outdoors without shoes or jacket. Tch! She'd probably go swimming if the pool wasn't closed for the season. No, she wouldn't. I wouldn't let her.
If I can figure out how to operate the scanner, I can send pictures of some of my paintings. (A couple people have asked.) But the scanner instructions are so complicated, I give up after the second paragraph. Anybody got any simplified instructions?
My sister is doing well after her hip-replacement surgery. And a couple who live in the mobile home park brought her Thanksgiving dinner. They've been really exceptionally fine neighbors. I'm glad she has someone like that as her son is a long-haul trucker and home only briefly, and her daughter is in Connecticut. So I'm not going to worry.
My Banshee is all white, and so his whiskers, so I'm always surprised when I see what a fine set he has--think and long. KK is a typical Siamese and quite handsome, but Banshee is gorgeous.
I like my cats. Can you tell?
Shalom

- From:Yetzirah (Legacy)On:Mon Nov 28 2005Sorry, can't help you with the scanner. I don't know a thing about them myself.
- From:Sezrah (Legacy)On:Mon Nov 28 2005unfortunately its a tad hard to give scanner instructions when not sitting right in front of the pc and scanner involved so i too must bow out of helping. also, scanners and software differ depending on which you've purchased
sez - From:Dustbunny3 (Legacy)On:Tue Nov 29 2005Winter !! well yes we had 5" on valley floor and likely 2' higher up. First heavy snow also brings out tne city drivers that moved here and lots of cars off road with ONE fatal. It is scary for the ole timers to see people driving 55 with street tires doing 360 on the HWY.

All TRUE scientists must entertain "folly". Otherwise nothing would be discovered that is "new".
