Forecast
Fri Oct 29 2004

My body is the best weather forecaster, bar none. I don't need to read the weather page in the paper, or check the weather on the 'net. Nope.

And I'm here to tell you that we're in for another storm.

I'm beginning to hurt again.

The forecast in the paper said it would be partly cloudy today. What I saw was completely cloudy. And chilly! I think it was supposed to be 65 degrees, but I doubt that it got that warm.

However....

When I went out at 7:00pm, the sky was clear, and I could see the color in the eastern sky that presages moonrise. When I left to come back home shortly after 8:00pm, the sky was completely overcast again. And if this evening is any indication, I'm going to have to buy a winter coat.

I have a light-weight London Fog raincoat, and another warmer raincoat with a liner, neither of which is going to be adequate if winter is going to be as cold as I think it will be.

I'll be glad when spring comes around again.

Next July I'll be complaining of the heat.

Shalom

It's winter all right. I was mumbling to myself on the way home for not dressing warm enough.
Guess we better plan for it.

I am predicting a hard winter too.
We already have a ski resort opening today. (The usual open date is around Thanksgiving) We haven't had snow on the valley floor yet, but I sure feel it getting lower and lower.. It is bound to be on Halloween night!
Also the animals have really gotten the winder coats underway and the London Fog may not quite keep you warm enough..
    :)
    Enjoy the weekend

Looks like we are getting a storm front in. It snowed this morning and then stopped but it looks like we are still in for some more before the day is over.

Too bad you are not such a bath person - ohhhh those wonderful baths! Maybe you have a shower massager? Those are great.

I hope the storms pass soon and or that you are feeling better soon.

It's rainy and blustery here too. I hope that it does not rain on the trick or treaters! My daughter is going out with some friends then spending the night at one of their houses and I hope she has a great time. I have always loved Halloween.

Good luck finding a nice warm coat! I found the NICEST winter jacket for peanuts at the Goodwill. I'd been ogling one at Lane Bryant for $120.00 and then found one I liked better for $5.00. What a deal!

Do you have one of those bed buddy things with the beans in it for your back that you put in the microwave? Mine is a lifesaver. I use it on my back, and I sometimes put it behind my neck and shoulders when they are stiff.

    Love,
    Anne

    hi chaya,

i cannot speak for the other 2 countries but yes, here immigrants are on a points system so the more points you obtain the better your chances of being accepted. one of the ways to gain more points is to have money you are wanting to invest over here or simply to be in possession of a certain amount (not sure what it is but i know its quite alot)
