I need a title.
Sun Mar 02 2008

I'm starting out here with any idea about what I'm going to talk about this evening.  Not a clue. But I suppose something will occur to me between here and Bless.

Well, it was a nice day again. Cooler.  I had lunch with a friend.  Gryffan came over to visit and brought Deirdre.  In fact, they were here when friend came by to talk about where we're going to have lunch.  She concluded that Deirdre is beautiful.  See. It's not just familial bias.  And she said it without prompting.

Megan got on Gryffan to print out some pictures and send them to her. Tracey loaded a bunch of pictures on this computer, but I have no idea how to access them. She didn't put them in MY pictures file.  I went through a bunch of snapshots and sorted out the pix I wanted duplicated for myself. Gave them back to Gryffan and asked him to find the negatives.  I guess he didn't hear that part.  I'm still waiting. Oh, well, I guess I'll just ask for them back and find the negs myself.

I managed to go to shul yesterday. It felt good.  I mentioned in an earlier entry that we have a volunteer chef who prepares the kiddushim, and what a spread she puts out!!  She knows how to shop efficiently, and we're having much better luncheons than we've ever had before for the same amount of money.  And all from "scratch." She doesn't believe in boxes.

This same chef and her husband have a beautiful baby boy.  He's a part-time walker, but mostly prefers the hands-and-knees ambulation process. Anyway, he lo-o-o-o-ves bananas. He was scarfing down banana slices as fast as Mom could put them in his mouth.

And speaking of banana slices, don't try to reconstitute dried banana slices.  Trust me.

Bless

I didn't doubt for one minute that Deirdre was beautiful. Not one minute.
    Thanks for the BD greetings!

There are days when I do not have a title myself or anything much to say except for ramblings.

Finding a title is not important. what is important - that you are capable to find in each day something that makes this day special, a memory of something that is worth recording. This is a very special gift of yours. :-) May all your days will have a memory to make a note of.

Thank you for your comment to Mom..I will tell her about your advise.. Sound like your walker is exactly like my friend, Jill's.. it is nice with the seat..She uses it to put her purse on.. when not sitting.. LOL
I just spoke to Dad and he says she is not having a good day.. and for some reason Mom is refusing to see the Orthopedic surgeon and instead put in a call to her own doc.. So this day is not going to see her at the doc's..
oh it is so difficult to deal with them.. But .. what can I do??

*at least dad did find he can mail his winning ticket in to Las Vegas and they will send him his winnings.. so that little trip to Wendover is off for now..*
I think Dad needs a break more than anything!
