Lessee now.  It's been awhile, and there's probably more happening than I can recall right now, but I think I have the hilights.

Had a lovely evening with granddaughter Kim and her assistant Candace.  We went to Paragary's again.  Seems that's going to be our routine.  Kim will be back in August, and I will return to SoCal with her for a week or so.  They now have a pool, so I must remember to pack my bathing suit.

And speaking of bathing suit:  I bought a new one.  The old one has a skirt that kept flying up while I was doing the water exercises.  But the new suit emphasizes my fat belly.  So I think I'll take the skirted one when I go to Kim's.

One trouble, though.  Her house is 2-story, which means the bedrooms are on the second floor.  Must remember to have everything I need once I come downstairs.  Fortunately, there's a powder room on the first floor.  Oh, yes, and she has a piano.  Maybe I could take some sheet music with me.  I expect I'll be spending some time in the office with Kim, but likely I'll have a lot of time on my hands, so, don't forget a couple books.  I can't spend ALL my time in the pool.

Called Megan tonight.  Everyone is doing fine and loving their new home.  The animals made the trip in good order, and Psycho even declared peace with Moe during the trip.  He's back to teasing, and she's back to growling, and KK (who is now Mr Toes) goes his own Krazy way.  The rabbits have outdoor cages and are having the time of their lives.  For the first time, they're sharing a cage.  Must be something in the air as there's been a dominance issue between them that seems to have been resolved.

I went to the gastroenterologist last week.  I have a prescription and a date later in the month for a barium swallow.  Ga a a ah!!!  That's to see if there's a reason for my difficulty in swallowing liquids sometimes.  Stay tuned.

Disconcerting news.  Tricia, my niece, had a malignancy removed from her breast.  Has been on radiation treatments.  She's in the hospital with a 102o temperature with nausea and vomiting.  I'm thinking it's a result of the radiation, but maybe it's a virus.  At any rate, those of you who pray, please remember her.

I got a new driver license.  It's good for 5 years.  I suspect the next renewal will require a driving test.  In fact, I'm surprised it wasn't required this time.  Well, I'm not going to push it.

Hot today.  Had cooler blowing several hours.  Hate to see my SMUD bill if this keeps up.

I know there's something else I wanted to talk about, but can't think what it was.  Maybe it'll come to me and I can add a PS later.  There's not much of anything of importance going on in my life, so maybe I'll just forget about it.  The most exciting thing that happens is that I wake up every morning.  I'm happy with that.

Shalom

Waking up in the mornings is something to get excited about! The SMUD bill however, not so much. Has the pool at your place been re-opened yet?

Glad to hear all is well with Megan.
Having an ordinary day doing all the little ordinary things is a blessing. You have your mobility and independence and you obviously look after yourself as well as you can, kudos to you :)

    Waking up is good....

So was the laugh we had yesterday with the Rabbi. That tickled my funny bone so much!

It is actually finally feeling hot around here with the humidity way up!

Is your pool back in order at the apartment?

I have a skirted suit too and know what you mean. It does hide a lot of flaws though!

Barium swallow does not sound like fun. A necessary evil I suppose. I hope something good comes of it.

I will definitly remember Tricia in my prayers and hope she is feeling better very soon.

    Lots of love,
    ~me

I got my drivers license renewed this year also, and the only test I had to take was the eye test. which I passed with no trouble.. (surprised me)

I am glad you are enjoying your time with Kim and Candice.. now you'll have to refresh my memory as to who these kids are.....
    *(your sons wife and child?)

Hope its a good week for you
it's been so humid here I can't stand it..
GS is sick.. coughing his fool head off.. and can't sleep ..
But he will not miss work.. has to have that money.. Oh man.. at least he has a loyal work ethic.. but when it comes to your health... i think he needs to take care of that first!!!!!

    Enjoy the week
