it is getting progressively more difficult (I hope) for folks to keep their heads buried in the sand. i do not care if this diary includes a lot of politics. how, in good conscience, could it not? we are losing our democracy. this country has made it to the do not travel to list. the rampant profiling and taking (kidnapping) of people that have accents and brown skin regardless of the rule of law, no due process, marines deployed -fucking marines for god’s sake, the national guard and bounty hunters…. it’s a bodies for cash set up, now they are storming through neighborhoods...

if you don’t have a problem with this, there is something seriously wrong with your brain and heart.

if you don’t see that we are a country in serious crisis, there is something wrong with you.

if you don’t see everything wrong with detaining people in cages on protected swamp lands (the everglades-which is a protected natural habitat) - it amounts to a goddamned concentration camp… you have problems if you feel there is nothing wrong with this….

if you don’t see anything wrong with keeping a brain dead black woman (essentially dead) alive with machines so that you can use her as an incubator for a lump of cells while a white republican congresswoman (kat cammack) is allowed to terminate her ectopic pregnancy by calling the governor of florida…you are a hypocrite and a racist.

if you don’t see anything wrong with republican reps refusing monetary help to install/upgrade a security system/early warning system to keep people safe from natural disasters like severe storms which cause flooding and then asking for fucking donations wearing a big smile in front of a floral memorial for all the victims who died (think shari snyder)…you have a screw loose.

we are a country that is being run by inept, imbeciles who are anti-vaccination, and are bought by israel, we are a country that is run by a infantile rapist who participated in human sex trafficking, we are a country run by oportunists who are obliterating protections of public lands, data mining social security, dismantling our constitution, and using the military to create fear.

what is the end game?

when i say i am frightened …. this is why. the hatred of people of color -brown, black and women, is palpable.

i am frightened. i am also fucking angry. angry….

i am doing what i can, boycotting, protesting, writing to my state reps, voting and donating what i can to support but it is exhausting to see so many who refuse to open their eyes and see what is happening.
