tired.
and busy at work.

it's a beautiful day out there today. the sky is bright blue, sun is busy shining, everything is lush.

*must fight the urge to read the newspapers.
lately it's beyond depressing.

watched Lilies of the Field for the first time...
been singing Amen now, for at least 3 days...that Sidney...he's alright!

*mental note: AOL sucks.

haven't seen lilies of the field in so long! i read poitier's book measure of a man. very, very inspiring read.

I haven't seen the Lilies of the Field since I was a young kid! Beautiful movie.

Now you've put the bug in me ... I wonder where I can rent it.

Yeah - but *you* live in the big, bad city, where all the amenities are available. Those of us who eke an existence out in the boondocks don't have the cultural avenues you are lucky enough to have at your fingertips. (i.e. The library selection here is less than optimal when it comes to video)
