i check in on the ING NYC marathon website every once in a while and by-golly!
our two Olympic medal winners are running this year, as well as, a whole bunch of other stellar runners. I'm really beginning to get excited. so much so that when i think about it, i get butterflies in my tummy!

my runs every evening have been stress relievers and Godsends. i look forward to them. i start out slow and then pick up the pace pretty well. it's tough, though, training by myself with only books and websites for info and advice.
it's been tough the last few weeks, and while stuff that's happened has affected when i run, i've always managed to make up the mileage on other days.
