well, for those of you following my other journal, the little baby kitten died yesterday. i spoke to the owner yesterday morning and asked her if the eyes had opened yet, it's been at least 2 weeks. the eyes were still shut. i saw her again this morning and asked about the baby, and that's when she told me he/she died. i never even knew if it was male or female.
unfortunately, this woman has learned her lesson at the expense of 3 lives. the first kitty born survived, the second died, and then mom died in the garage trying to give birth...the surviving kitty died yesterday.
but has she learned enough to get that tom neutered?? i doubt it.
sad and angry. living creatures are not personal toys. you can have the best intentions, but how great are they when everything dies?
too busy petting and doting, and not enough medical care for that baby.
you have to care from the inside out, always from the inside out...
