me for someone who will actually buy your cr*p!

the worst possible scenario for an employer to create is one where they push and shove an employee with nothing to lose if he/she quits. seems a fellow employee thinks i was hired to be their convenient stand-in for when they want to take off... this same employee, after setting vacation dates down, wanted them back AND requested that i switch schedules with them allowing said person to have the end of the week off. okay. you want your days back, but you don't want to actually work them...instead you want my days. now, this person who was complaining about money, wants me to switch my tuesday for a friday.
~~~
i don't have a problem with this, except for 2 details...
1. don't act like you're doing me a favor. i have no problem working the schedule i was given.
2. ask me directly, don't write bullshit notes addressed to everyone when you really mean me. and don't call me at home either.
...make that 3 details.
3. how come noone switched with me and i ended up losing a day's pay while you require that i switch with you so that you don't lose a day's pay?
screw this!
i don't need this part timer.
i don't need the bullshit
and i don't need to deal with inferior lazy workers who leave grunt work for me to do and admit it to my face (hello, where'd you get your tact degree?)
to said employee asking for the ole switcheroo...
-either get a job where you don't have to work fridays
-deal with the fact that you'll have to make weekend getaway plans for after you finishing working on friday.
1. i will NOT let you interfere with a training schedule i'm trying to get my body used to.
in other more pleasant news, my "real" workplace is having a block party for employees. i'm sporting jeans, t-shirt and sneaks. YAY! soon, it'll be lunchtime and then bingo...softball...movietime...icecream break... and general revelry. too bad there wasn't any mention of an open bar.
ciao&meow
and have a freakin' cannoli!
it's on the house.
    Cannoli falls under the same classification as cheese cake and cheese Danish. Cheese is not a dessert.
