and i have no choice but to get out of bed to feed the kitties...they're on a schedule. i can't slack off when i'm on their clock or various items begin to fly...pumpkinhead has a knack for pushing anything she can get her paws on off tables, off shelves, off tops of dressers etc, etc.

so, here i am.
surprisingly feeling rested. got some cleaning done, some laundry, finally shaved my legs! feels great. got a nice run in yesterday. the weather was absolutely awesome. did some sprints and ran about 3 miles. will do some rowing later today. had a decent night. there was no Mr. Guinness to be had unless i wanted to hit the local dive to buy some...so...i purchased a nice bottle of wine and, just to have in the apartment, Mr. Cuervo (1800) ;-) hehehe. i ordered a pizza and had a few glasses of wine with it. popped in Sense and Sensibility, because i love that movie. Emma Thompson is a goddess. brilliant actress. she never disappoints.
it was a good night.

now it's early sunday morning. i'm looking forward to getting my new contacts. i'm looking forward to watching Sunday Morning on CBS and to some quiet time sitting at the kitchen table with a great cup of coffee and the sunday paper.

it'll be colder today...a high of 31.
i'm sitting here...waiting for the sun.
