there is significant cardiace disease in this patient. the pleural effusion is most likely secondary to congestive heart failure based on today's evaluation. the progress is guarded wth a high risk for complications including recurrent congestive heart failure and thromboembolic disease.
thus goes the echocardiogram for my orangehead by a board certified cardiologist.
